Fire Designs Reports

With a detailed knowledge of the NZ Building Code C Clauses and the Acceptable Solutions, we produce easy to understand and practical fire design reports.

Existing Building Reports

Understanding the true cost of future building alterations is critical for managing your property. Improvements to the means of escape from fire are often required to achieve building compliance when undertaking an alteration.

We believe it’s better to know early what improvements are required.

As part of our report process, we’ll visit site to develop a comprehensive understanding of your buildings. We’ll identify where the gaps exist with the current code, and present practical solutions for gaining compliance.

Our existing building reports will also provide you with confidence and peace of mind when it comes to designing and budgeting for future projects.

Fire Evacuations

We can help you meet your obligations as a building owner under the Fire and Emergency (Fire Safety, Evacuation Procedures, and Evacuation Schemes) Regulations 2018.

We’ll create an evacuation scheme designed to meet the specific requirements of your building and your occupiers, starting with a site visit, and a review any existing fire design information and plans. Once we’ve developed the scheme, we’ll manage the FENZ application process for you.

And once its approved we can provide you with everything you need to maintain the scheme - from signage to hi-vis jackets, onsite training of fire wardens, right through to carrying out your trial evacuations.

Construction Monitoring

In conjunction with our fire design reports we can carry out construction monitoring to CM2 level and give building owners the confidence that a project has been completed to the consented fire design and in accordance with the building code.

We can provide oversight of the construction process in relation to fire safety systems with onsite visits at key stages of the build. Once the build has been completed according to the fire design, we’ll issue our producer statement (PS4).
